Philippa GregoryBack when she was two years old, she and her family migrated to Bristol, England and lived there. She had lived to write her first novel Wideacre at the same time, completing a PhD in the 18 century literature. She had went into the journalism college somewhere in Cardiff, she spent a year being an apprentice with the Portsmouth News, just right before she handled to gain a place in English literature degree in her course at the University of Sussex, it is where she had switched into a history course. University of Edinburgh is her school, the fact that she have learned her doctorate on the 18th century literature. As she follows the success of Wideacre, during the publication of The Favoured Child, she transferred south to be near Midhurst, West Sussex the place where Wideacre trilogy was set. She married Paul Carter, her second husband in there, and fortunately they had a son.

Philippa Gregory born 9 January is an English historical novelist who has been publishing since The best known of her works is The Other Boleyn Girl , which in won the Romantic Novel of the Year Award from the Romantic Novelists' Association  and has been adapted into two separate films. AudioFile magazine has called Gregory "the queen of British historical fiction". She then went to journalism college in Cardiff and spent a year as an apprentice with the Portsmouth News before she managed to gain a place on an English literature degree course at the University of Sussex , where she switched to a history course. Gregory wrote her first novel Wideacre while completing a PhD in 18th-century book history,  and living in a cottage on the Pennine Way with first husband Peter Chislett, editor of the Hartlepool Mail , and their baby daughter, Victoria.
