Celebrate Recovery Participant Guide Set (Volumes 1-4)
It takes about 9 months to complete the work for a 12 step study. There are separate study groups for men and women. The Celebrate Recovery Bible will be used by the group leader, although you may use any Bible. You need to purchase the following Participant Guides. This guide goes through the first three principles. We need to first look at the toll that denial has had on our ability to face reality, and acknowledge that we are powerless against this struggle. We alone do not have the power to conquer this problem.
Unlike any other recovery Bible, this one is designed to walk you step by step through the recovery process mapped out in the successful Celebrate Recovery program. Use it with the program or apart from it. Either way, the Celebrate Recovery Bible offers you help and hope for every stage of recovery. Specifically tied to the eight recovery principles of the Celebrate Recovery program, the Celebrate Recovery Journal is specially designed to help you go through the recovery process step-by-step. Includes tips on how to benefit from journaling, Scriptures pulled from the Celebrate Recovery program and a day review. This resource is similar to the Celebrate Recovery Journal adults use, but it is tailored specifically for students in the Landing. A Step Study is how we work through our hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Step Study Groups are gender-specific and led by men or women who have completed a step study. They meet at another time during the week — meaning not Monday night. When the group has completed the first Participant Guide, the group is closed to new people. We encourage you to prayerfully consider taking this first or next step and to think about who you might invite, too. We have the participant guides and other books and resources available every Monday night. The Journey Continues curriculum includes biblically based studies filled with brand new acrostics, deeper questions, and more helpful Bible verses.
