Andy Weir - The Martian: Classroom Edition - Trade PaperbackSix days into what should be the greatest two months of my life, and it's turned into a nightmare. I don't even know who'll read this. I guess someone will find it eventually. Maybe a hundred years from now. For the record I didn't die on Sol 6.

The Martian: Classroom Edition
This is a great omnibus edition of the first 3 John Carter books. After years the stories are still interesting and the 'science' still out there. True, these are massively dated now - no computers, no spacechips wait, we still can't get to Mars What really makes these good though are the characters. Great stuff! This volume is an omnibus, and I will be reviewing each of the three books within it separately.

Drawing on his ingenuity, his engineering skills—and a relentless, dogged refusal to quit—he steadfastly confronts one seemingly insurmountable obstacle after the next. Will his resourcefulness be enough to overcome the impossible odds against him? Grade: A.
