Exploring Celtic Mythology: Creatures in Celtic Mythology

This book is incredibly well written. These stories are fun to read and really engaging. This is no boring textbook; you will have a hard time putting this down. A lot of collections of Celtic myths can be a bit dry but this is not one of them. This book recognizes that a lot of Celtic myths have been Christianized by the monks who wrote them down. It attempts to compensate for that by re-Paganizing the myths. For example, it refers to the Tuatha De Danann as gods and goddesses, not just as spirits or magical humans.
