Gathering Activity: When the kids arrived for book club, we all went straight to the table to make a little 4th of July craft! Kids painted glue onto mason jars and used confetti to decorate them. When all is dry, they can use their jars to store whatever they like at home. Circle Time: We headed back to the circle and had each child pick a musical instrument. The kids had fun for a few minutes banging around and then we got their attention to introduce the book.
