I am looking for a present for my sister, it's one of my earliest memories, me and my sister laughing at this book called kathy and mark. It's just about the two of them doing really simple things. I think it had an orange cover. It would mean the world to me if I could find it.

Kathie Lee Gifford On Scripture and Israel ft. Rabbi Jason Sobel - Dinner Conversations

Toppsta - Childrens Books – Reviews

The first three books were also dramatised by Yorkshire Television. Kathy Peyton, who has become a good friend, kindly gave me permission to draw on her setting and characters for my own story, which is set in the present day. My main character, Grace, is the great-great-granddaughter of Christina, and my story begins when she visits Flambards for the first time in July The Flambards series is rich in detail: rural life and the seasons, social injustice and change, the First World War and its demands on both combatants and civilians, the early days of flying, love, loss, loyalty, change and continuity. On this page I'll look at some of the elements I've picked up in my own story. I first came across them in my twenties, while training to be an English teacher. It had been my ambition to be a writer since the age of eight, and I'd been experimenting with poetry, short stories and fiction but without any clear sense of purpose.

Over the past couple of months I have had the pleasure of working with local Author Kathy Tallentire on illustrations for her charming new story Nana Duck. The book is set in and around The Potteries Stoke-on-Trent, England and has a central storyline based on people calling each other duck. Whilst the story is set in the Midlands, it is bound to make you smile wherever you are from as it is a warm tale that celebrates the relationship between a granddaughter and her grandparents and the funny things that children pick up on. There are some fantastic rewards including a book mark, a colour-in book, limited edition prints and even the chance to name the canal boat in the story!!! Please take a look here to find out more about the Kickstarter Campaign and wonderful awards on offer.

The idea of books as my own set of secret worlds has been life-saving more than once since. Though I am not from a mixed religious heritage, I am from a devout Christian background, and I spent a lot of time questioning my faith and God. Her pain was my pain, and the questions she asked were the ones I wanted answering. We grew up together. It puts things into perspective and shows not only how fast things can fall apart, but that they will get back together. I love it and recommend it to any readers! I read it when I was about eighteen I think.

  1. This book tells the story of a shipping trip with mother, shopping with father and fun in the summer sun. Lovely as a nostalgic gift, to support young readers or as.
