Amsterdam Guidebook + Netherlands | Rick Steves Travel StoreSo I've been reading all these reviews about all kinds of guide books. We will be first time travelers. We will only have a few days at each city max. But with all the options out there, I do not know which is the right fit for us, as I do not want to spend a lot of money on books, but want to be well informed. My husband and I only have 9 days to travel this summer. The 9 days include our flight days, so we'd have 7 days on the ground. We have never been to Amsterdam, Brussels or Bruges and are wondering if we could have a fun trip in 7 days without overly rushing everything. It seems that flying both in and out of Amsterdam is the most cost effective, but perhaps it's still better to fly into Amsterdam and leave from Brussels. What would be a good itinerary for us?
